Reverse Chocolate Pocky
by Glico
Product of Japan
Background The first of these chocolate-dipped wheat sticks was launched by Glico Corporation in 1965. Glico was amazed at the success and popularity of Chocoteck - as they were first called - with sales reaching three times their original estimate. Chocoteck was soon renamed Pocky in recognition of the "pockin" sound they make when munched.
